Vision Board

I chose the image of the driver and tee’d up golf ball because it represents one of my favorite hobbies. It also represents the lifestyle that I want to work hard to achieve. Golf is an expensive hobby, and to play on some of the nicest courses in the world, I’ll need a bank account that allows for it. The second image I chose displays helping others succeed. Helping others succeed is what drives me, and one of the reasons I chose to go into financial planning. The image of medical staff represents a career I do not want to go into. Originally, I came to Purdue to pursue a career in medicine, but I soon realized I wasn’t a fan. I realized I wanted to go into financial planning to help people, but in a different, equally important way. The picture of the money and stock represents what success looks like to me professionally. It is also the area I am most knowledgeable in and what I enjoy learning about. The picture of corporate finance represents the job I am going into after graduation. The picture of bridge construction also represents this. After graduation in May, I will be continuing to work for the company I am at now in a finance/accounting position. I’ll get to use my degree, and I’ll also get to work in the industry that I grew up in. The picture of the house and the word invest represent what I hope to be doing in 10 years. In 10 years, I hope that I can quit my regular job and work full-time in real estate investing. The picture of the guy pushing the boulder is also an example of this because I am going to have to work hard over the next 10 years, juggling my W-2 job, starting a company, and family life to accomplish this. The last picture of the people shaking hands also ties into this. This picture represents entrepreneurship, and I hope to start multiple companies in the future
